Terms of use
Terms for the website and iOS app. Last updated: August 30, 2026. This translation is provided for convenience; the German version remains authoritative.
1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to the use of rydereal.com and the RydeReal iOS app. The provider is Christopher Haase, handelnd unter orgendo, Albgaustraße 1D, 76337 Waldbronn, Germany.
2. Free and Pro services
RydeReal creates vertical cycling videos from selected footage and can use authorised activity data as a telemetry HUD. Free includes up to three ride creations and a RydeReal watermark on exports. RydeReal Pro particularly unlocks unlimited creations, watermark-free exports, Trend Cuts, additional HUD designs and combined export of all variants. The feature set shown in the app applies.
3. Contract and Apple App Store
Downloads, in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. Your Apple ID and App Store terms also apply. The RydeReal Pro contract begins when Apple confirms the purchase.
4. Subscription, renewal and cancellation
RydeReal Pro is offered as an automatically renewing monthly or annual subscription. The term and actual localised price are shown in the App Store before purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled in your Apple ID subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current term. Existing purchases can be checked again using “Restore purchases” in the app. Billing, cancellation and refunds are managed by Apple under its applicable terms.
5. Lawful and safe use
Use RydeReal only lawfully and for the functions described in the app. Do not operate the app while riding; road safety, your surroundings and personal safety always take priority. You must not interfere with the app, its systems or other users.
6. Your content and rights
You remain responsible for the videos, images, music, trademarks, activity data and other content you select. Only use and publish material for which you have the necessary rights and permissions. RydeReal does not grant rights to third-party content or platform music.
7. Automatically generated results
Edits, HUDs, hooks, captions, hashtags, guidance and other suggestions are creative aids. Before publishing, check accuracy, suitability and possible third-party rights or legitimate interests. Original footage is not modified, but important content should still be backed up independently.
8. Third-party services
Apple Health, Strava and publishing platforms you use are independent services with their own terms. An optional Strava connection does not create a partnership or endorsement between RydeReal and Strava. Third-party availability and features are outside our control.
9. Availability and development
RydeReal is continually developed. We may adapt, add or discontinue functions for legitimate reasons, including security, technology, law or external API changes. Uninterrupted availability and a permanently unchanged feature set cannot be guaranteed.
10. Liability
Liability is unlimited for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to typically foreseeable loss. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
11. Term, restriction and termination
You may stop using Free and delete the app at any time. Pro subscriptions are cancelled through Apple. In cases of material or repeated misuse, access to server-supported functions may be restricted to the extent permitted by law. Locally created content remains unaffected where stored on your device.
12. Governing law and consumer rights
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protections in your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
